Ten days Annapurna circuit trek

Ten Days Annapurna Circuit Trek is an exciting journey of the world's massive pass, Thorung La (5416 m), in Marsyangdi and Kali Gandaki Valleys. Nepal's adventure trek is worth to the Trans-Himalayan Valley with views of the world's highest summits, Manaslu (8163 m), Annapurna I (8091 m) and Dhaulagiri (8167 m), the deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge (6967 m deep) and healing hot spring. Fascinating Buddhist culture with Magar, Gurung, and Thakali people maintain trekker's lodge. Annual approximately 27068 tourists hike the challenging trip. The best trekking time is September to November and March to May to visit the Annapurna Round. 

Ten Days Annapurna Circuit is a shortcut hiking in addition 21 days Besisahar to Nayapul journey (211 km trail). Phedi (4450 m) to Muktinath (3800 m) takes 10 hours (4 am to 2 pm) hiking with Thorung La (5416 m). Tourists visit the Hindu and Buddhist sacred temple, Muktinath. Jeep from Muktinath to Jomsom is available. Jomsom Airport offers a morning flight to Pokhara (20 minutes). 

Annapurna Circuit Hiking extends two more days from Manang to the highest, Tilicho Lake (4919 m). Behind the Himalayas, Manang and Mustang districts are well-known for ancient monasteries, caves, ice lakes, yak, snow leopards and blue sheep. The short Annapurna round trek is possible with its newly constructed road from Besisahar to Manang and Muktinath to Tatopani. The round trip is still worthwhile in Nepal. Day 01: Kathmandu to Besishahar (820 m) - 7/8 hours by bus

Day 02: Besishahar to Chame (2710 m) - 5/6 hours

Day 03: Chame to Pisang (3200 m) - 5/6 hours

Day 04: Pisang to Manang (3540 m) - 5/6 hours

Day 05: Rest day in Manang for acclimatization

Day 06: Manang to Letder (4200 m) - 4/5 hours

Day 07: Letdar to Thorong Phedi (4450 m) - 3/4 hours

Day 08: Phedi to Muktinath (3800 m) via Thorong La Pass (5416 m) - 8/9 hours

Day 09: Muktinath to Jomsom (2710 m) - 5/6 hours

Day 10: Jomsom to Pokhara (827 m) - 20 minutes by flight

Day 01: Kathmandu to Besishahar (820 m) - 7/8 hours by bus
Drive to Kathmandu-Pokhara highway until Dumre is 135 km and take the separate road to the right side to Besishahar is next 43 km. Besishahar is the district headquarters of Lamjung district. Here are 15 hotels with electricity. Marsyangdi River is to the south and snow-capped mountains are to the north. 16th-century Shah, King Yoshobrahma's palace is in 2 hours uphill distance to the ridge. Stay overnight in Besishahar.

Day 02: Besishahar to Chame (2710 m) - 5/6 hours
Driving from Besishahar to Chame (65 km) on an unpaved road with an interesting former famous trekking route and Marshyangdi Valley. Chame is the headquarters of the Manang district. Here are at least 12 hotels, hot springs, and power. Views of Annapurna II (7939 m) and Lamjung Himal (6932 m) are beautiful. Stay overnight here.

Day 03: Chame to Pisang (3200 m) - 5/6 hours
Walk a few, cross a bridge over the Marsyangdi River, and continue through a pine and cypress forest with a gravel road to Bhratang (2850 m) in 1:40 hours. Here are apple horticulture and two hotels. Climb uphill to Dhukur Pokhari (3160 m) in 1:25 hours and here are five hotels. The walk continues to Pisang in 1 hour. Here are eight hotels and power. Stay overnight here. You can visit Upper Pisang (3310 m) village. Walk uphill in 30 minutes. The view of Annapurna is beautiful.

Day 04: Pisang to Manang (3540 m) - 5/6 hours
If you walk the lower route, climb uphill and downhill to Humde Airport (3330 m) in 1:45 hours. Here is a beautiful village and an Annapurna view. The walk continues to the Bhraga village (3450 m) at 2:00 hours. Here are two hotels with power and 500 years 500-year-old monastery. The walk continues to the Manang (3540 m) in 30 minutes. If you walk the upper route, cross a bridge over Marsyangdi River and climb uphill through pine and juniper forest to Ghyaru (goat pasture 3700 m) in 1:40 hours. Views of the Annapurna and Gangapurna are beautiful. Here are two lodges. Climb uphill to the Ngawal village (3660 m) in 1:40 hours. Here are two hotels. Views of the valley and the Himalayas are nice. Climb downhill to Mungji (3440 m) in 1:30 hours where you meet the lower route to Manang. The Mungji to Braga village takes 25 minutes and Manang in 30 minutes. Tibetan types of Nepali people live here. Here are ten hotels and power. Stay overnight here.

Day 05: Rest day in Manang for acclimatization
After breakfast climb either North uphill to 100 Lama or South uphill to Gangapurna Base Camp for 2 hours. View of the lake, Marsyangdi River valley, Annapurna ranges, Gangnpurna and Tilicho peak are beautiful here. Visit old monasteries in and around here. Old village Tenki Manang (3650 m) is 30 minutes distance to the west. You can go to Tilicho Lake (4919 m) from here takes two days. Stay overnight here.

Day 06: Manang to Letder (4200 m) - 4/5 hours
Climb uphill to Tenki Manang (3650 m) in 30 minutes. You leave the Marsyangdi Valley here. Climb up continues to Ghunsang (3900 m) in 1:10 hours. Here are two hotels, but no electricity. Views of Annapurna and Gangapurna are beautiful here. The walk continues to Yakkharka (4050 m) in 1:35 hours. Here are four hotels and no electricity. Blue sheep and Yak can see here. Climb uphill to Letder in 45 minutes.

Day 07: Letdar to Thorong Phedi (4450 m) - 3/4 hours
Trail climbs continue uphill and cross a stream in 1:20 hours. Climb up the hill to a tea shop in 25 minutes. The walk continues to Thorong Phedi in 45 minutes. Here are two hotels and power. Take lunch, climb high to High Camp (4850 m) in 1 hour and climb, downhill back to lodge in 30 minutes. Stay overnight here.

Day 08: Phedi to Muktinath (3800 m) via Thorong La Pass (5416 m) - 8/9 hours
After early morning breakfast, climb uphill to high camp (4850 m) in 1 hour. Here is one hotel with power and a beautiful view of the snow-clad mountains. The climb continues to a teashop (5100 m) in 40 minutes. Climb uphill to Thorung La (5416 m) in 1:30 hours. Here are prayer flags and notice board of altitude. This is a big pass and icy path with windy weather. The view of Kali Gandaki valley and surrounding mountain peaks are nice. Climb steeply downhill to Muktinath (3800 m) in 4 hours with a view of Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Kaligandaki Valley. There are 11 hotels with power. Muktinath is the popular God Vishnu temple in the Hindu Pantheon with 108 holy water taps. The next Buddhist temple with natural gas fire is another attraction. Stay overnight here.

Day 09: Muktinath to Jomsom (2710 m) - 5/6 hours
Climb down to Jharkot (3550 m) in 30 minutes. Descent to Khinga (3355 m) is in 45 minutes. Walk 25 minutes to two separate trails of Kagbeni and Jomsom. Kagbeni (2800 m) is a religious place where is a confluence of Muktinath and Kali Gandaki River used by Hindu pilgrims to wish special worship for their late parents. Here are eight hotels with power. Kagbeni is the gateway to Upper Mustang. Climb downhill from the left side to Jomsom (2710 m) in 2:45 hours. Jomsom is the headquarters of the Mustang district. This windy valley has several hotels including five stars and power. Here is Airstrip and the army post for a high Mountain Education Training Center. Flight to Pokhara takes 20 minutes and run before 10 AM. Stay overnight at Jomsom.

Day 10: Jomsom to Pokhara (827 m) - 20 minutes by flight
An early morning scenic flight with a view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Rupse waterfalls, Kaligandaki Valley, Ghorepani, and Pokhara valley will be interesting. Stay overnight at Pokhara.
