Sirubari is a picturesque Gurung village at 1610 m, lies 64 km west of Pokhara, in Andhikhola Rural Municipality, ward number 1 (March 10, 2017), Syangja district, Nepal. The Gaupalika occupied 69.61 sq km, live 25554 people (2074 BS). There are 23 homestay lodges (out of 39 households) made of stone and steel roofs in terraced fields. Captain Rudra Man Gurung (1987 Bhadra 12-2072 Falgun 15) was an ex-Indian Army who designed the homestay village in 1997 (2054 Ashoj 22).

The profession of locals is agriculture, trade and recruiting the army in India, England, and Brunei. The bus from Prithvi Chowk, Pokhara to Sirubari leaves at 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. takes 5 hours (64 km road). A private vehicle can hire to visit the traditional Gurung village that takes 4 hours from Pokhara. Pokhara-Palpa road follows until Putali Bazaar Syangja then, other road drives to the Sirubari village. The short road distance is Pokhara-Naudanda-Sirubari 42 km. The long Pokhara-Karkineta-Sirubari distance is 64 km.

Sirubari village tour is extraordinary to learn and understand Gurung's life, an unwritten language, Gurung dress, ornament, culture, remarkable hospitability, food habit, and festival. Both internal and external tourists experience local's warm hospitality by flower garlands with Panche Baja. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport 1337 m
We meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport then transfer the hotel in 25 minutes. Check in hotel, a guide will brief tour program. Stay overnight in Kathmandu with breakfast.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Tour guide with a car comes at 8:30 AM at your hotel. Today you are visiting the four world heritage sites. Swayambhunath the ancient Buddhist Stupa with an activity of Assamese monkey and panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and Himalayas are interesting. Kathmandu Durbar Square filled with medieval palace squares, museum, Kasthamandap, the Living Goddess temple, Freak Street, and several Hindu Temples. Pashupatinath with a cremation in the River bank's of Bagmati is quite interesting. Pashupatinath Temple and other Shiva shrines, Hindu holy men (Sadhus) and an activity of the Assamese Monkey, deer in a sub-tropical forest are the features of this complex. Boudhanath the largest stupa in Nepal, Tibetan refugee settlement, painting school, huge prayer wheels, prayer flags, a monastery with the monk, and lamas are interesting. Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (827 m) and do boating
Pokhara lies 204 km west of Kathmandu, where bus reached in 7 hours. Between Kathmandu and Pokhara the snow-capped mountains, Trishuli River valley, cable car station, Marsyangdi River valley, highway towns, terraced fields, villages, domestic animal and jungle views are interesting. Check in hotel and do one-hour boating in Phewa Lake. Stay overnight in Pokhara with breakfast.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Sirubari
Take a hot breakfast and drive to Sirubari with a view of a village, terraced fields, and green hills. The Gurung village with homestay lodge welcomes a drink for new tourist. A cultural show can observe in the evening. Stay overnight in Sirubari with a full board of meal.

Day 05: Rest day in Sirubari Village
Take a hot breakfast then take a tour around the village. Hike 2-hour to approach the Gorujure with the views of Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Annapurna (8091 m) ranges. Afterward, return to the village. Enjoy the cultural show after dinner. Stay overnight in Sirubari with a full board of meal.

Day 06: Drive from Sirubari to Pokhara
Take a hot breakfast in the morning. Ride a local bus to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara with breakfast.

Day 07: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara
Wake up early morning and drive to Sarangkot for the views of sunrise and Himalayas from a hilltop. Drive back to Bindya Basini Temple (17th-century) to see religious activities. Visit Seti River gorge from a bridge nearby there. Drive to Davis Falls and International Mountain Museum with photography of the highest mountain peaks, library, artificial climbing peak, ethnic people’s museum, and slide show. A beautiful garden and Mountain view seen there. Stay overnight in Pokhara with breakfast.

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350 m) - 7 hours by bus
Kathmandu lies 204 km east Pokhara, where takes 7 hours by bus. Between Kathmandu and Pokhara driving, enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains, Trishuli River valley, cable car station, Marsyangdi River valley, highway towns, terraced fields, villages, domestic animals, and jungles. Stay overnight in Kathmandu with breakfast.

Day 09: Departure to Kathmandu Airport
The airport lies 6 km east of Kathmandu, required to reach 3 hours before the flight departure. A car takes 25 minutes to approach the airport. We wish you a nice flight.
